I've been away for a bit, fixing some stuff I broke on my computer, and I came back today and found this in my inbox:

"I normally dont leave any trace, but this time i wanted to leave a message. Between games and work i ghost through message boards all over the internet, watching and learning how the mass of anonymous beings act towards each other, seeing what everyone truly looks like behind these fake personalities in real life, but this board and especially you caught me slightly off guard. There is a warmth to that i have not seen on such a cold type of media. Although my time on this site was short i felt that as an observer of so much other sensless and useless banter outside, this site alone seems have members who really care about you. You all make so much more sense compared to the rest of the rable. How surprised i was to read through "Your beloved admin is lonesome." This is a very nice place and i do hope you take care of it for a long time...so few sites have any feeling at all. Do be proud of what you have done here for it is not an easy task."

If you can't tell, this is from a lurker. One of the people who keeps his head down and doesn't speak out in the open for whatever personal reasons s/he may have.

The fact that this person was moved to say something to me really means a lot.

This totally made my whole fucking day.
